| Description: | All of us at Island Princess want to send our warmest welcome to you. We are so pleased we have been given the opportunity to share our candies with you. We hope that you will enjoy eating them as much as we enjoyed making them. We pride ourselves on using only ingredients of the best quality to produce some of the finest chocolates and confections in the world. You can choose from a variety of goodies- beautiful whole macadamia nuts covered in chocolate, caramel popcorn in 4 delicious flavors, and chocolate covered Hawaiian pineapple. Treat yourself, family, and friends to these gourmet island treats. The Mele Kaliki Macs made their "candy debut " during the 1999 Christmas season. These luscious, chocolate and toffee-coated macadamia nuts are back by popular demand as the Mele Macs. The price for this item is $83.28 per case. The freight cost for these candies is slightly higher because the six 2 1/4 pound jars are filled to the rim with mouth-watering macadamia nuts. The freight cost is $27.97. The total cost for these incredible treats is $111.25, and worth every penny. One important note. We are always concerned when we ship chocolates, especially during the warm summer months. This is true even during the winter to some of you lucky people who live in the warmer climates. You see, none of the commercial carriers will insure against heat damage. That's why we are careful to point out to our customers when their order includes any of our chocolate products that we cannot guarantee that their chocolates won't experience "bloom." Now bloom, when it occurs in flowers is quite lovely... in chocolates though, it dulls the beautiful surface of the chocolates and can sometimes turn it a gray or white color. The chocolates are perfectly fine to eat, they just aren't as pretty as we all would like them to be. We hope that when your order arrives, the only thing "blooming" at your house are the flowers. Just remember that if you also have "blooming" chocolates, don't worry about the look. Underneath they still hold some of nature's most wonderful offerings... luscious chocolate with juicy pineapple, roasted macadamia nuts or rich coffee beans. ISLAND PRINCESS... offers the pleasures of Hawaii in gourmet confections. We select ingredients of the highest quality and ensure that all products are made in the true "ALOHA" tradition. The scenic glamour of our secluded beaches, swaying coconut palms, exotic flowers and picturesque sugar cane and pineapple fields all come to mind in the tropical flavors of ISLAND PRINCESS - the perfect blend of sophisticated luxury for gourmet enthusiasts! |
