Description:	LESSONS IN FIREARMS EDUCATION (L.I.F.E.) is a non-profit organization and is affiliated with the Hawaii Rifle Association (HRA) and the National Rifle Association (NRA). L.I.F.E. Instructors have been teaching Basic courses and Safety since 1993. L.I.F.E. can be found in the Yellow pages of Verizon Hawaii telephone book under Gun Safety & Marksmanship Instruction. [New answering service phone number is 396-5433] Year 2003 officers are: Mark Plischke, President; Biz Kellam, interim Vice-President; Susan Mulkern, Treasurer; and Wilma Chung, Secretary. The primary course objective is to promote safe and responsible use of firearms. Courses include class room instruction and hands-on live range firing. The fundamental gun courses also meet State education requirement for handgun acquisition. Course fee is $85.00. Class room instruction may be held at Security Equipment Corp., Young Guns or other locations. A notarized affidavit is issued.
