Based out of Waianae Harbor on the western shore of Oahu, Hawaii, Boom Boom Sportfishing provides Deep Sea Fishing Excursions and Seasonal Whale Watching Tours. Why Waianae? The Waianae Coast is one of the Hawaiian Island's most abundant fishing grounds. Known for its relatively calm deep waters, the coast has 3 FAD (Fish Aggregation Devices) located close to Shore which brings some very big pelagic fish near the island. Pelagic fish include marlin, ahi (yellowfin tuna), mahimahi (dolphinfish), and ono (wahoo). Leaving from Waianae means that you spend your day in prime fishing waters not boat-riding to and from them.
