| Description: | EGGS 'N THINGS is near the Ewa end of Kalakaua Blvd., and since opening in 1974 has been not only a very popular hangout for local people, (especially those who live and work in the Waikiki area), but is also popular with tourists from around the world. Night owls and early morning fisherman can enjoy our pancakes, waffles, omelets and crepes starting at 11:00 at night - throughout the night- until 2:00 in the afternoon, every single day. We are often crowded, but we guarantee no one is disappointed. We think we have the "BEST BREAKFAST IN HAWAII". You will have to be the final judge. Click on our menu- check it out, and be sure to visit us during the very first days of your stay in Waikiki. You will be back again and again during your visit, and you will make it a MUST DO AGAIN each and every time you return to our Islands. EGGS 'N THINGS serves an impressive assortment of omelets - the fillings for you to choose from include various cheeses, spinach, sausages, ham, bacon, onions, corned beef hash, a combination of any of this, and on and on. We also have Vegetarian Omelettes, and run featured Special Omelettes on a daily basis. Jerry and Jan Fukunaga, the owners of EGGS 'N THINGS, insist on using only the finest and freshest quality ingredients. Fresh fish,(caught almost daily by our avid fisherman/owner Jerry) shows up on our daily menu in the form of mahimahi, or ono, or ahi, cooked sometimes cajun style, plus a variety of other ways; and you can always be assured it is fresh. We also strive to have healthy fat-free options available for our diet-conscious visitors; and a number of our regular customers who are Power Walkers and Runners ask for our Hi-Fiber breakfast shakes... Ask about them when you visit. Try our Crepe Suzettes- those wonderful thin pancakes filled with sour cream, or mangos, or apples, or lemon, or strawberry, or blueberry. Click again on our menu for a complete list. - Lots of sprinkled powdered sugar on those crepes - as well as on the waffles. A specialty in constant demand are both the macadamia nut pancakes or the banana pancakes, or try the chocolate chip, or strawberry, or blueberry.... Our pancakes are so light and fluffy we have to weigh them down with dairy fresh whipped butter and powdered sugar, just to keep them from floating.... Please check out our syrup list. We have maple syrup, guava syrup, coconut syrup, boysenberry syrup and our special fresh fruit syrup made daily. Visit our gifts 'n things for a complete list of those syrups available as gifts. |
